CHAP. IV. Verſe 1. Chriſt hath ſuffered]
AS Chap. 3.18.
In the fleſh] In humane nature, ſo muſt we ſuffer in ſinfull nature, ſubduing it to God, and ceaſing from ſin, nailing it and nailing it to the croſſe of Chriſt.
