Verſe 24. Wherefore ſhew ye] As by an ocular demonſtration, or as by pointing the finger.
Before the Churches] In the face of the Churches, whoſe eyes are now full ſet upon you, [non-Latin text not transcribed]. to ſee what entertainment ye will give to their meſſengers. A Chriſtian is like a cryſtall glaſſe, with a lamp in the midſt.
