Verſ. 5. But I will ſend a fire upon Judah.] They ſhall alſo bear the puniſhment of their iniquities, yet is it not ſaid as ver. 2. that Judah ſhall die with tumult, &c. God will make a difference in his dealings with his own and others, his ſonnes and his ſlaves, theſe ſhall totally and finally be conſumed at once, Nah. 1.9. not ſo the Saints. The remnant of the Philiſtins ſhall periſh, Am. 1.8. But of Judah a remnant ſhall be ſtill reſerved, for royall uſe, Iſai. 11.11, 16.
