Ver. 36. At the ſame time] When God had hid pride from me, which could not be ſoon nor eaſily done: as when ſome vital part is corrupted, the cure is difficult, and long in doing.
And my Counſellours and my Lords] Who had ruled the Kingdom in the Interim, among whom Daniel haply was chief.
