Ver. 23. But haſt lifted up thy ſelf aginſt the Lord of heaven] As did alſo Pharaoh, Senacherib, Herod, Acts 12. whoſe acts were ſet forth with falſe and flattering praiſes by Nicolas Damaſcenus, as Joſephus complaineth: but ſo are not Balſhazzar's by holy Daniel, Antiq. lib. 16. cap 11. who yet is, almoſt, his only Hiſtoriographer.
And whoſe are all thy wayes] Chald. thy whole journy.
