Ver. 11. Then theſe men aſſembled] But for ill purpoſe: as did alſo our Saviours enemies, Luk. 22.6. and Stevens, Act. 7. the Popiſh Councels: at Rome they have a meeting weekly de propaganda fide, for the propagating of the Romiſh Religion, and aboliſhing of hereſie as they call it.
And found Daniel praying] The Sun ſhall ſooner ſtand ſtill in heaven, then Daniel give over to pray to his Father in heaven.
