Ver. 14. Therefore hath the Lord watched upon the evil] To bring it at the juſt time, and when it might do us moſt miſchief; but all in a way of Juſtice, Iſa. 31.2. as Daniel acknowledgeth in the next words.
For the Lord our God is righteous] See ver. 7.
