Verſe 16. Comp[illegible: 1 letter]cted by that, &c.] The Saints are knit unto Chriſt by his Spirit, as faſt as the ſinews of his bleſſed body to the bones, the fleſh to the ſinews, the skin to the fleſh.

Ʋnto the edifying of it ſelf in love] Our ſouls thrive and are edified, as love is continued and encreaſed. Nothing more furthereth growth in grace and power of godlineſſe in any place or perſon: obſerve it where and when you will.
