Ephesians5:26

Verſe 26. That he might ſanctifie] The maids were firſt purified and perfumed, before Ahaſhneroſh choſe one. But here it is otherwiſe. Sanctification is a fruit of juſtification. The Lord will not have a ſluttiſh Church, and therefore he came not by bloud only, but by water alſo, that clean water of his ſpirit, whereby he waſheth away the ſwiniſh nature of his Saints, ſo that they deſire no more to wallow in the mire.
