Verſe 31. For this cauſe, &c.] See the Note on Mat. 19.5. and on Gen. 2.24.
Shall be one fleſh] By vertue of that Covenant of God betwixt married couples, Prov. 2.17. for he keepeth the bonds of wedlock.
