Ezekiel1:7
Ver. 7. And their feet were ſtrait feet] Importing their right progreſſe in executing Gods will. We muſt alſo make ſtraight or even pathes for our feet: leſt that which is lame be turned out of the way, Heb. 12.13. See ver. 9.
And the ſole of their feet was like the ſole of a calves foot] Round,Hoc ad agilitatem & varietatem curſus ſpectat. and therefore eaſily turned: The Angels as they ſee every way, ſo they are apt to go every way; and this with the greateſt facility that can be.
And they sparkled] So ſwiftly they went, that their feet ſeemed to ſparkle or ſtrike fire.
Like the colour of burniſhed braſſe] Burniſhed not blemiſhed; poliſhed, not polluted.
