Ezekiel1:9
Ver. 9. Their wings were joyned one to another] To ſhew the unity of Angels, the uniformity alſo of their motions in Gods ſervice: there is a ſuteableneſſe and agreeableneſſe betwixt them.
They turned not when they went] ſc. Till they had effected that they went for; and then they did, as ver. 14.
They went every one ſtraight forward] The Angels, in the execution of their office, keep a ſtraight courſe, without deviating or detrecting, without ceſſation or ceſpitation. Our eyes ſhould alſo look right on, Prov. 4.25. and we ſhould make ſtrait ſteps for our feet, Heb. 12.13. This is Angel-like. St. Paul, that earthly Angel did ſo, Phil. 3.13, 14.
