Ver. 26. And I polluted them in their own gifts] i. e. I rejected both their perſons and preſents as unclean. So God would do our beſt performances (wherein there would not elſe be ſo much as truth and ſincerity found) were they not wrought in us by the holy Spirit, and perfumed with Chriſts ſweet odours poured into them.
