Ver. 29. And the name thereof is called Bamah] i. e. A high place; a name good enough in it ſelf, but (as uſed by them) as odious to all good hearts, as a brothelhouſe is to a chaſt Matron, ſhe is the worſe to paſs by it and ſpetteth at it: ſo ſhould we in like caſe, Exod. 23.13.
