Ver. 37. And I will cauſe you to paſſe under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant] Why then Feri Domine, feri, ſmite Lord, ſmite, ſo my ſins may be pardoned, and my ſoul ſaved. Hic ſeca, hic ure, ut in aeternum ſerves, ſaid an ancient: do even whatſoever thou wilt with me, ſo I may come to heaven, though I come to it by weeping-croſſe.
