Ver. 18. The houſe of Iſrael is to me become droſſe] Recrementum argenti, offalſtuffe. Silver they were once, but now nothing leſſe. Haec ad nos quo que tranferenda ſunt. This is even our caſe, we are quite degenerate, and altogether unlike our zealous progenitours.
Heu! pietas ubi priſca? profana O tempora! Mundi Faex, veſper, propè nox! O Mora! Chriſte veni.
