Ver. 40. Ye have ſent for men] Ye have truſted to forrein forces, and carnal combinations.
For whom thou didſt waſh thy ſelf] Omnino te comparas ut Thais impudentiſſima, ad pelliciendos & ineſcandos amatores; thou haſt acted the whore to the life, to inveigle thy paramours.
