Ezekiel23:49
Ver. 49. And ye ſhall bear the ſins] i. e. The puniſhment of your idolatry: neither ſhall ye have colour of cauſe to complain of my ſeverity.
And ye ſhall know that I am the Lord God] This comes in ever and anon, velut verſus intercalaris, and hath much weight in it to ſet on what is ſaid before.
