Ver. 15. I restrained the floods thereof] I made them keep home, as mourners uſe to do.
And I cauſed Lebanon to mourn for him] Heb. To be black, i. e. in mourning-habit. Athenienſes non niſi atrati ſapiunt, ſaid one.
