Ezekiel34:5
Ver. 5. And they were ſcattered, becauſe there is no ſhepherd] None but an idol-ſhepherd, Zach. 11.17. a fooliſh ſhepherd, ver. 15. and the ſheep being a fooliſh creature even to a proverb, [non-Latin text not transcribed]. and apt to wander into harmes way, will never return to the fold, if not fetcht back; but ſtick in the thornes, or dye in a ditch, or run into the wolves mouth.
