Ezra4:24
Verſe. 24. Then ceaſed the work of the houſe of God] And now the adverſaries have got the ball on the foot, thinking to carry the game before them: But the triumphing of the wicked is ſhort, Job 20.5. and that they proſper at all in their deſignes, it is non ad exitium, ſed ad exercitium Sanctorum; not for the ruine of the Church, but for the exerciſe of the faith and patience of Gods people.
