Ezra7:11
Verſe 11. Even a Scribe of the words of the Commandments] This ſheweth Ezra was not an ordinary Scribe (called a Scribe of the people) nor a publike Notary, or Kings Secretary, ſuch as were called for, Eſth. 3. but Scriba ſacer, legis peritus, & interpres, a Teacher of the words of the Commandments of the Lord and his Statutes to Iſrael. This is an high and honourable employment.
