Ezra7:15
Verſe 15. Which the King and his Councellours have freely offered] This King as he had beene well bred by his Mother Queene Eſther, ſo he had (likely) beene well inſtructed by Ezra in the knowledge of the God of heaven (as he calleth him) whoſe ſervice he thus promoteth. So Origen wrought much upon Alexander Severus the Emperour by his ſound doctrine and holy converſation: but eſpecially his mother Mammaea who became a great friend to the perſecuted Chriſtians.
