Ezra8:29

Verſe 29. Watch ye] with utmoſt care, and ſolicitude, as the word ſignifieth. How much more ſhould we watch and trebble watch, (as Luk. 12.37, 38, 43.) to keep our veſſels (bodies) in ſanctification and honour, Not in the luſt of concupiſcence, &c? eſpecially ſince,Aug. Adverſus majora vigilantibus quaedam in cautis minutiora ſurrepant, and Satan worketh ſtrongeſt on the fancy, when the ſoul is ſleepy, or a little drowſy. Watch ye therefore and keep: This leſſon had need to be often rung in our ears.
