Verſe 1. IN the ſeventh moneth, in the one and twentieth day of the moneth] This is the Preface to the fourth ſermon, as ſome reckon it: noting the exact time when it was delivered. See the Notes on chap. 1.1. and 15.

came the word of the Lord] This he often inculcateth, to ſet forth the truth of his calling, and validity of his commiſſion. See the Note on chap. 1. ver. 5.
