Verſe 13. Make ſtraight paths] Seek not by-waies (thoſe high-waies to hell) leap not over the hedge of any Commandment, ſo to eſcape any peece of foul way: but as thoſe kine of the Philiſtims held ſtraight on their way to Bethſhemeſh, 1 Sam. 6.12. though they had calves at home: ſo let us to heaven, though we have divers things to divert us. Let thine eyes look right on: and let thine eye-lids look ſtraight before thee, Prov. 4.25.
