Hebrews12:26
Verſe 26. Whoſe voice then ſhook, &c.] viz. When he gave the Law. What ſhall he do when he comes to judgement?
Not the earth only, &c.] Not men only, but angels, who ſtand amazed at the myſtery of Chriſt. As for men, they will never truly deſire Chriſt, till they are ſhaken, Hag. 2.7. Gods ſhaking ends in ſettling; it is not to ruine, but to refine us.
