Isaiah10:32
Ver. 32. He ſhall ſhake his hand] Viz. at Jeruſalem, as threatning her deſtruction; but ſhe ſhall ſhake her head at him in contempt, chap. 37.21. God oft lets his enemies go to the utmoſt of their tedder, and then pulls them back to their tasks with ſhame enough, as he did Pharaoh.
