Ver. 21. To go into the clefts of the Rocks] See ver. 10. Only here the double repetition of this dreadful Judgement is very Emphatical: and may ſerve to teach Preachers to inculcate upon their Hearers Gods ſeverity againſt ſinners, and to remind them much of thoſe laſt things, Death, Judgement, Hell. Ʋtinam ubi que de his diſſereretur, ſaith Chryſoſtom that excellent Preacher. O that theſe things might reſound from all Pulpits!
