Isaiah26:13
Ver. 13. O Lord our God, other Lords beſides thee have had dominion over us] Or, have maſtered us: Oh that men were ſo ſenſible of their ſpiritual ſervitude, as thus to complain thereof to Jeſus Chriſt! But alaſs they do nothing leſs for moſt part, delighting on the Devils drudgery, which they count the only liberty, and dancing, as it were, to hell in their bolts.
Will we make mention of thy name] For which end we would not be the ſervants of men (much leſs the ſlaves of Satan,1 Cor. 7.27. that baſeſt of ſlaves) but the free-men of Chriſt: where the ſpirit is, there is liberty; and if the Son ſet us free,Joh. 8. we ſhall be free indeed.
