Isaiah30:8

Ver. 8. Now go write it before them in a table, and note it in a book] He had proclaimed it before, ver. 7. but with ill ſucceſs: now he is commanded to commit it to writing, for a teſtimony againſt them to all poſterity; viz. that they had been told in two words what were their beſt courſe to take for their own ſecurity and ſafegard; but they thought it better to trot to Egypt, then to truſt in God. Now therefore if they ſuffer and ſmart (as they muſt) for their contempt and contumacy, the blame muſt be laid upon themſelves alone: who elſe can be faulted when as they were ſo fairly forewarned?
