Isaiah35:8
Ver. 8. And an high-way ſhall be there] i. e. In the Church of Chriſt: and a way] [non-Latin text not transcribed], the Kings high-way to Heaven, arcta & ampla: latet & lucet.
The way of holineſſe] Or, the way of the Sanctuary.
But it ſhall be for thoſe] Thoſe Beneficiaries of Chriſt mentioned ver. 5, 6. the ranſomed of the Lord, ver. 10.
The wayfaring men though fooles] Simple Chriſtians.
Shall not erre] Miſſe their way, or miſcarry in it.
