Ver. 17. But Iſrael — with an evelaſting ſalvation] By Cyrus they were not ſo: for not long after, Antiochus afflicted them, Herod gat the Scepter from them, the Romans came and took away both them and their Nation: But the Iſrael of God were, and are ſtill, ſaved by Jeſus, with an everlaſting ſalvation.
