John Trapp on Isaiah 51:6

Ver. 6. Lift up your eyes to the Heavens] Man hath a muſcle more then ordinary to draw up his eyes heavenward.

And look upon the earth beneath] How faſt and firm it ſtandeth, Eccleſ. 1.4. Yet the whole engine ſhall be changed, 2 Pet. 3.10.

Shall dye in like manner] Or, like a louſe, as ſome render it.

But my ſalvation ſhall be for ever] The Goſpel, together with the ſpiritual benefits thereby, ſhall out laſt Heaven and Earth.
