Isaiah57:12
Ver. 12. I will declare thy righteouſneſſe] i. e. Thine unrighteouſneſſe, by an Irony: Antiphraſis Ironica. or thy righteouſneſs ſecundum dici, non ſecundum eſſe, thine hypocriſie.
For they ſhall not profit thee] Nay they ſhall undo thee.
