Jeremiah1:16
Ver. 16. And I will utter my judgement against them] ſc. By thoſe Northern Princes: bu firſt by thee and Zephany, and Huldah, &c. if haply they will repent, that I may repent of the evil. God therefore threateneth that he may not puniſh.
Who have forſaken me and burnt incenſe] Theſe ſins differ in degrees; and are all found among the Papists.
