Ver. 27. Drink ye and be drunk and ſpew, and fall] Eckius or Eccius (otherwiſe by ſome called Jeccius from his caſting or ſpewing) being nonplus't by Melancthon, Manlii loc. com. 89. and well nigh madded, fell to drinking (for his own ſolace) and drunk himſelf to death: ſo ſhould theſe do of the cup of Gods wrath, not only till they were mad-drunk, as ver. 16. dut dead drunk.
