Ver. 23. Truly in vain is ſalvation hoped for from the hills] Heb. Truly in vain from the hills; the multitude; the mountaines; it is like to that, Hoſ. 14.3. Aſhur ſhall not ſave us—neither will we ſay any more to the works of our hands, Ye are our gods. See the Notes there.
