Jeremiah38:24
Ver. 24. Let no man know of theſe words] Thus he who feareth not God,Muliebriter deprecatur Rex incredulus fidelem. feareth his own ſervants and Counſellours.
And thou ſhalt not dye] The crafty King would ſeem to be ſollicitous of the Prophets ſafety; but mainly intendeth his own.
