Jeremiah44:16

When man loſt his free-will, ſaith One, woman got it: and whereas there came twelve kabs (meaſures) of ſpeech at firſt down from Heaven, women ran away with ten of them, ſay the Rabbines merrily. Here they are very talkative and peremptory. In ſome there is a ſtrong inclination, a vehement impetus to whoredom, which the Prophet Hoſea calleth a ſpirit of whoredom: Such there was in theſe women to idolatry: they were fully ſet upon's.
