Ver. 33. The children of Judah, and the children of Iſrael were oppreſſed together] Or, were oppreſſed alike, ſc. In their ſeveral deportations; and God mindful of his Covenant, ſheweth himſelf ſenſible of it; though for preſent he ſeemed not to care what became of either of them; Ille dolet quoties cogitur eſſe ferox.
