Ver. 46. And leſt your heart faint] Or, And let not your hearts faint.

And ye fear for the rumour] ſc. Of Cyrus his coming: fear it not, all's for the beſt to you: your redemption draweth nigh.

A rumor ſhall both come one year] ſc. Of Cyrus his preparation, and then another of his expedition toward Babylon.

Ruler againſt Ruler] i. e. Cyrus againſt Belſhazzar: ſo Conſtantine againſt Maxentius, Maximinus, Licinius, &c. this was for the beſt to the poor Church of Chriſt.
