Ver. 13. Every one is given to covetouſneſſe] Avet avaritia, is coveting covetiſe, Lib 11. cap. 34. cryeth ſtill give, give with the horſeleech: of which creature Pliny obſerveth, and experience ſheweth, that it hath no thorough paſſage, but taketh much in, and letting nothing out, breaks and kills it ſelf with ſucking. So doth the covetous man.

Every one dealeth falſely] Heb. each one is doing falſhood; as if that were their common trade.
