This was alſo Joſephs happineſs in Egypt; David in the Court of Saul; Mordecai's and Daniels in the Court of Perſia; and Queen Elizabeths; concerning whom (beſides that famous Epitaph ſet upon her Tomb by command of King James) Thuanus a French Hiſtorian teſtifieth, that the Lady Anna Ateſtina (Mother to the Guiſes and Nemours) pronounced her to be Glorio[illegible: 2 letters]ſſimam & omnium quae unquam ſceptrum geſtarunt feliciſſimam [illegible: 1 word], The moſt glorious and happieſt Woman that ever ſwayed Scepter. Among her Subjects the got a continual increaſe of honour and reſpects, by coupling mildneſs with Majeſty, and ſtooping yet in a ſtately manner, to the meaneſt ſort: but eſpecially by ſetting up God and his ſincere Service, wherever ſhe had to do, truſting God with her precious life, (ſo much ſought for by Popiſh Aſſaſſinates;) which whiles her Contemporary Henry 4. of France durſt not do, he loft his life, and much of his honour: witneſs that known Anagram, Borbonius, once Bonus orbi, now Orous boni.

And my bow was renewed in my hand] That is, I had freſh and new ſupplies of ſtrength,Robur meum inſtaurabi[illegible: 1 letter]ur maſuſque reddetur.
