Job30:14
Verſe 14. They came upon me as a wide breaking in of waters] Quaſi irruptione latâ in vedunt me. As Souldiers when they have made a breach in a wall, come tumbling in upon the Town, and ſack and ranſack it, yea, raze it, and harraſſe it; ſo have theſe dealt with me.
They rolled themſelves upon me] Labouring wholly to ſuppreſſe me, Gen. 43.28. Taking occaſion by this my downfal, which they ought rather to have lamented and pitied▪ they unmercifully fell upon me, as if themſelves had lived out of the reach of Gods rod.
