Job36:28

Verſe 28. Which the clouds do drop, and diſtil upon man abundantly] Hence the Dutch call it raegen, and we rained, à rigando, from watering the earth all over, at times: This is Gods work, and it ought to be marvellous in our eyes: it would be ſo, were it not ſo ordinary. Non ſactis id aſcribamus, multò minùs ſagis; the Heathens gave their gods the glory of it. The holy Ghoſt here, and elſwhere, ſetteth before us theſe common things, that when we ſee them, and yet know not the reaſon of them, we may gather, that we ought not over-curiouſly to pry into the profound judgements of God, which are far above the clouds, thoſe receptacles of rain; yea, far above the higheſt heavens.
