Verſe 28. The arrow cannot make him flee] Heb. Sons of the bow, as chap. 5.7. Sparks are called ſons of the coal. Arrows were then as much in uſe as bullets are now.
Sling-ſtones are turned with him into ſtubble] Thoſe ſtones which the ſling caſtes with ſo much force, make as little impreſſion upon his body, as a feſtraw would, which the hand of a child ſhould puſh.
