Verſe 47. Then gathered the chief Prieſts] Like unto this was the Councell of Trent, gathered on purpoſe to ſuppteſſe Chriſt in his true worſhippers; and carried by Antichriſt with ſuch infinite guil and craft, without any ſincerity, apright dealing and truth, as that themſelves will even ſmile in the triumphs of their own wits (when they hear it but mentioned) as at a maſterſtratagem.
