Verſe 27. That he talked with the woman] Solum cum ſola. Beza. He might do that that we muſt beware of, leſt concupiſcence kindle. Abraham may ſee Sodome burning, Lot may not.
Yet no man ſaid] All ill thoughts, and ſiniſter ſurmiſes, of ſuperiours eſpecially, are to be preſently ſuppreſſed, and ſtrangled in the birth.
