Verſe 63. It is the Spirit that quickneth] Had thoſe carnall Capernaites but ſtayed out our Saviours Sermon, they might have bin ſatisfied for the ſenſe of his words, that they ſo ſtumbled at, and had not patience to hear him here expounding himſelf. Quoniam Christiani (Pontificii) manducant Deum, quem adorant, ſit anima mea cum Philoſophis, ſaid Averroes; who, had he conſulted with Divines, might have known more.
